On October 9, 2025, the city of Győr hosted the international conference “Future of Businesses within the Danube Region,” which offered a comprehensive overview of the current challenges and prospects faced by enterprises in the Danube region.
For several days, Brno will once again transform into one of Central Europe’s major centers of the engineering sector, as the 66th International Engineering Fair (MSV) takes place from October 7–10. Nearly 1,300 exhibitors will showcase products and innovations spanning virtually all areas of the machinery and electrical engineering industries. This year, thanks to the efforts of CED Central European Economic Development Network Nonprofit Ltd., eight Hungarian companies will also be among the exhibitors.
In 2025, the Czech economy maintained its recovery, achieving a 2.6% year-on-year growth in the second quarter — its fastest expansion since mid-2022. Quarter-on-quarter, GDP increased by 0.5%, according to the latest figures from the Czech Statistical Office.
