From Budapest to Colorado: Hungarian space companies take part in the global mission
The 40th Space Symposium, one of the leading events in the global space industry, kicked off on April 7, 2025, in Colorado Springs, USA. This four-day event functions as a professional conference, exhibition, and business forum.
Under the theme “The Role of Hungarian SMEs in Global Value Chains,” a successful workshop and two roundtable discussions were held on March 6–7, 2025, at the MáraiKult event hall. The third transnational workshop of the ValueFacturingSMEs project, organized by the International Project Office of BCCI and supported by the European DIGITAL SME Alliance, highlighted best practices in social dialogue aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of manufacturing SMEs within global value chains.
The Czech government has announced plans to gradually increase defence spending to 3% of GDP by 2030, up from the current level of around 2%.
A successful Regional Water Forum took place in Brussels on 5 March 2025, highlighting investments in water management, sustainable agriculture, and drought prevention. The event was organized by the Drought Prevention Institute, with support from the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and the HEPA Hungarian Export Promotion Agency.
The European Investment Bank (EIB) is providing €466 million (11.75 billion Czech korunas) to the Czech Republic to modernize key railway lines across the country.
