Economic forecast for the Czech Republic
Real GDP growth in the Czech Republic is projected to rise to 2.4% in 2025, then ease to 1.9% in 2026, before picking up again to 2.4% in 2027. Growth is expected to be primarily driven by private consumption, supported by increasing real wages and lower household savings. However, higher tariffs and slower economic activity among key trading partners are likely to exert downward pressure on exports in 2025 and 2026.
