Serbia’s Russia-Owned Oil Refinery Could Close in Four Days Due to US Sanctions
Serbia’s Russia-owned NIS oil refinery could halt operations in four days unless the United States lifts sanctions, threatening fuel supplies ahead of winter, President Aleksandar Vučić warned in a televised address.
The European Commission has authorized the Czech Republic’s plan to grant EUR 450 million in state aid to support the expansion of onsemi’s production facilities in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. The U.S. semiconductor company plans to invest EUR 1.64 billion in the new plant. The Czech government still needs to approve the disbursement of the aid.
